My thesis project ‘Paper Trail’ started as a deep-dive into history, from colonial India to underground press cultures around the world. I wanted to build a platform that speaks to designers—especially young ones —who are asking the same questions I was. That’s how Beyond the Grid was born.

Beyond the Grid is a manifestos journal series. The current issue explores the power of print media in shaping political and social change, featuring manifestos, essays, and visual narratives that inspire designers to think critically and act purposefully.

The mini booklet is called Beyond the Message. It is a pocket-sized extension of the main magazine. It holds quotes, snippets, prompts—a personal companion that asks you to pause and reflect on your own creative values.
